Vision
Islamic Center of Mid-City (ICMC) is a non-profit, independent, autonomous, volunteer-based and non affiliated faith based religious organization that aims to cultivate, reinforce and disseminate religious, spiritual, cultural and intellectual aspects of human life in a contemporary language.

The goals of ICMC are based on the principle that the Divine Law encompasses every human activity to generate a conscientious and ethically sound human being based on the Quranic worldview as elaborated by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Provide a forum for batter understanding and promoting the religion of Al-Islam based on the Hanafi School of though. An integral component of the Quranic worldview is establishing social justice that would be actualized by providing humanitarian and other support services. 

 


Mission
Provide a multi-purpose facility, and comprehensive programs for the spiritual, moral, and intellectual development of its patrons.

Prepare our youth to be models of excellence in contemporary American society.

Promote a positive image of Muslims and Islam through active participation in social issues and by visible contribution to the well-being of the larger community.

Participate in inter-faith dialog and with the aim of promoting understanding, respect and appreciation of our plural society, and jointly address issues of social justice and environmental welfare while providing moral leadership on issues that affect our community as a whole.

Facilitate regular religious services such as daily prayers, Friday congregational prayers, and commemorating annual events such as Eid celebrations. All programs and services are open to the entire community irrespective of religion, nationality, ethnicity, or social status. However, all lectures are conducted in common language of the audience or in English.
 

 
Objective
Conduct social and cultural traditions of Islam.

Promote and build friendly relations among Muslims and non-Muslims.

Present Islam to non-Muslims so as to help them understand its message and teachings.

To inculcate the sprit of volunteerism and promote active participation of the members in the activities of the organization in an open atmosphere irrespective of their gender, age, race, social class/status and perspective.

Establish a comprehensive center promoting Islamic values and reflecting excellence in serving the needs of the community.

To create a community based on Islamic principles and promote a closer understanding among the people of Islamic faith.

To foster mutual understanding between people of different faiths.

To organize religious, cultural, and other related activities to foster community ties.
The Islamic Center shall not be used for any political meeting and or demonstration.
